1 Standard Yoga Chair: Backless with one bar. Two options to buy: Option 1 & Option 2.
Substitution: A backless yoga chair with two bars. There will be times when this is prohibitive, but for the classes in April I will try to be versatile.
4-6 Yoga Blocks: Preferably 2 cork & 2 recycled foam or similar (these materials work better to stabilize the chair). Wooden blocks are great for so many things too, so if you can have all.
Substitution: For some poses, books, blankets and pillows can be used.
Substitution: Can be yoga blankets, bath towels, or something similar.
1 Extra Mat: preferably a travel mat that is foldable.
Substitution: Any other yoga mat, the stickier the better.
1-2 Quick Release Strap: The best thing you will ever buy!
Substitutions: regular straps, actual belts with extra holes punched in.
1-2 Sand Bags: I recommend getting them empty and filling them with rice
Substitutions: Ankle weights that open, weighted blanket.
1 Bolster: If you don’t have one, you can mostly substitute with blocks, blankets, and some smaller pillows.
